What paperwork do I need when moving to Spain?+
Most people start with a NIE, then register their address at the town hall (padrón). EU citizens staying longer than three months also register as an EU citizen, which is a separate procedure.
Who is Move Spain for?+
EU and EEA citizens moving to a supported Spanish city, municipality or island.
What does Move Spain do, and what do I do?+
We prepare the applications, check the documents and organise the steps. You provide the information and complete the official steps that require you in person. The authority makes the decision.
What does it cost?+
Move Start is €39 (NIE). Move Essential is €99 (NIE + padrón). Partner +€29, child under 18 +€9. Government fees are separate.
