Can I do the Madrid padrón online?+
Madrid accepts several padrón procedures online with a digital certificate or Cl@ve. Without one, you book an appointment at your district office. We prepare the documents either way.
Where is the NIE application submitted in Madrid?+
At Oficina de Extranjería, Madrid. The appointment is booked through the official government system and you attend in person, or someone with a power of attorney attends for you.
Is the NIE the same as registering as an EU resident?+
No. The NIE is an identification number. EU citizens staying longer than three months also need the Certificate of Registration of EU Citizen, which is a separate procedure.
