Questions
What is a NIE?+
The NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero) is the identification number Spain assigns to foreigners. You need it for contracts, a bank account, buying or renting a home and most administrative steps.
Is a NIE the same as EU residence registration?+
No. The NIE is an identification number. EU citizens staying longer than three months also need the Certificate of Registration of EU Citizen, which is a separate procedure and is not included in our packages.
Do I have to attend the appointment myself?+
Yes, unless you appoint someone with a power of attorney. The application is submitted in person at the police station or immigration office.
Can you guarantee an appointment date?+
No. Appointment capacity is controlled by the Spanish authorities. We prepare your file so you can take the first slot that fits.
Are government fees included?+
No. The Modelo 790 fee is paid by you to the Spanish state. Our service price is separate and fixed.
