Register on the Padrón Municipal
The Empadronamiento is registered by your local Ayuntamiento. Move Spain prepares your file, reviews your documents and books the appointment for you, the Town Hall issues the registration and the certificate.
The padrón is your registration with the municipality where you actually live. You normally need identification, and proof of your address such as a rental contract, property deed or written authorisation from the owner or main resident. Padrón requirements can differ between municipalities, so where we do not hold a verified local list we confirm the exact documents with your Town Hall instead of guessing.

In most Mallorcan municipalities the Empadronamiento itself is free. A few town halls charge a small administrative fee for certificates.
